feeling! Mary also mentioned that it was a "good maybe" that she would be going to CA next year for the Spring show in April. We will have to wait and see if it's really going to happen! Before we knew it the line was moving and Mary began signing our treasures. Melody Brosnan was so excited about meeting Mary for the first time that we thought she was going to hyperventilate after she did. We both remember how exciting it was when we met her last year! She is also passionate about her creations and you can tell they come straight from her heart. They limited us to two pieces per signing but didn't mind if we went through the line a second time to get all our pieces signed. After finishing it was time for Mary to go but she stayed long enough to pose for group pictures with the club members. Thank goodness she is very patient with us! After Mary left, it was time to check out the rest of the exposition and the swap and shop. There was only a few items in the Swap and Shop that was interesting, but it was fun looking anyway! We heard Kathy Azure even found a Chip pin in a barrel of other pins. Way to go Kathy! Saturday night our party started at 8 o'clock and boy what a turn out! Everyone that said they were going to be there showed up and it was a "standing-room only" crowd. It was a great party! The party started out with everyone getting a "goody bag" with Cow masks, candy and lots of other treats. The food was set-up in Debbie & Randy Phillips room and everyone roamed in and out eating pizza, snacks and fabulous cow-shaped chocolate candy made by Deb Foltyn. They really did a nice job of displaying some of the new moos along with party streamers and other moo-velous decorations. Next we started playing Carrie's version of "Who Wants to be a Moo-llion-aire". We drew eight people's names, then they were each given a card with a question on it. The answers had to be marked in order by placing a 1-4 next to them. The first person with all the correct answers then got to go into the "Hot Seat" in the Barnyard for additional questions. Once in the "hot seat" (cow spotted blow up chair) you had to guess the $1, $5, $10, $15 & $25 questions. If you answered each category right you got a prize, money or gift certificate. If you got an answer wrong you had to give back the money but got to keep the prizes. The game was so much fun! If you could not figure out the answer you could "Ask a Moo Pal" or "Poll the Herd". Everyone really seemed to have a super great time! Carrie really spent a lot of time preparing for this one, but then again she did have 6 weeks in Hawaii to work on it! (I will never let her forget that we were jealous that she got to go to Hawaii for so long!) When the game was over, we had pop trivia questions for prizes and more door prize drawings. In our goody bags we each had green raffle tickets and if your number on the green ticket was called, you got to go up and pick from even more prizes. It wasn't over yet! Then we had secret prize drawings. If your name was called you got to go up and pick a black bag or cow key chain purse that had a card with a prize listed on it. Everyone had fun winning even more prizes. We then had a drawing for the "grand (Continued on page 12)
