Carrie & Deb and Debbie & Randy,
Just wanted to say "Thank You" to all four of you! I had such a great time in Hiawatha at the signing, but not only at the signing at every event that we went to before and after the signing! I will have to say this was the best Signing that I've been to. Lancaster had the candy (which I love) but you even managed to fulfill that there in Hiawatha!
I had a BLAST and there was never a moment that there was nothing to do. Debbie & Randy at Just For You had it planned out that we would be entertained and have fun no matter what! I have never seen a City pull together and give the type of welcome that we got! From the Gift Hat in our rooms and letter from the Mayor of Hiawatha to the Dairy Queen which had on there marquee "Welcome Mary's Moo Moo Collectors" this City went above and beyond extending their hospitality! Please pass along a big "Thank You" to everyone!
I know one of the best parts was at the signing and seeing so many there! The store was decked out to the max with decorations and all the figurines anyone could want to get. There were members of the Moo Hunt Club that a few I got to meet again such as Gordyne, Marlene, Susan & Steve and our Honorary Member "Mary"! I also got to meet a lot of new members and friends as well, such as Linda and Jerry, Carisa, Ann & Jim and some collectors that were just starting to cow-lect, but the best was finally getting to meet Carrie Moos for the first time! I was looking forward to that for a while now. At the signing there was so much to do, such as carriage rides and getting moos signed. I was glad that I was one of the winners in the drawing to ride in the carriage with Mary - that was great! I would have to say that Debbie and Randy from Just For You, out did themselves.
I again had so much fun at the get together before and after the signings and between Linda and Jerry & Lois and Virgil (Debbie's Father), I never laughed so much! You all kept us entertained all the time. Carrie had games that we played to keep us going and so many prizes, I was shocked to see so many! It so much fun and at the dinner I never expected so much entertainment and fun! Debbie and Randy you have a very nice and talented family I think a lot of us were in awe over everything. Elvis even made an appearance! Where else would that ever happen again?! Thank you for opening up your Store & Home and hosting the signing you went above and beyond for us! "Thanks!" Carrie and Deb you put so much work into these signings to make it as rememberable as possible for all of us. Not enough "Thanks" can measure what you do for our club and others! "Thank You!"
I sincerely hope that there are more signings to come in Hiawatha. For those who could not make it, you will have to plan to attend a singing there, you will not be disappointed and may enjoy one of the best times in your life! Thanks again to all of you for making this Signing a special and fun event to be at for me!
