Friday evening the members that were in town stopped by Deb and Con's room for some light refreshments
and catch up with old friends and to meet new ones. Mooleen had some of her beautifully embroidered shirts along and
some of the members took advantage of the opportunity and bought or ordered some shirts. There was also the trip to Paul's
room to get a close up look at the rare prototype figurines he got at
auction or elsewhere. We talked for hours, laughed and looked forward to seeing Mary again or meeting her for the first time at the signing the next day. Eventually we all retired and I'm sure most had visions of
Mary's Moo Moos dancing in their heads.
We soon found that the big day had arrived, and after a good hot breakfast, for those of us that stayed at the Hawthorn Inn and Suites, and with moos in hand we headed to Lancaster Pottery and glass to see Tom Levy and await Mary's arrival. Here we met up with some other Mary's Moo Moos collectors and chatted about our collections. Tom's secret was finally out of the bag when he informed us that we would get one
of the Mary's Moo Moos lithographs with a purchase of $50 or more.
