"MOO"-RE ON ROSEMONT I thought I'd go into more detail on some of the entertainment in Rosemont. At the "Meet and Greet" on Friday night, hosted by Debbie Phillips of Just For You Jewelry and Gifts, we played several rounds of "The Price is Right". To make it more interesting and in keeping with the 50's theme, the items were priced according to their prices during the 1950's. Talk about sticker shock! Of course the wages of that decade matched the prices. The "playoff" round was a bubble gum blowing contest complete with a bubble gum bubble measuring tool. Let's just say there was a lot of hot air that night as everyone practiced blowing bubbles. We were having so much fun playing I don't even remember who won! LOL Thanks to Debbie Phillips for sponsoring another year and another great event.
SATURDAY NIGHT'S MOO-VIVOR CONTEST The final round of Saturday nights entertainment was won by Cindy Butler. First, her team was one of two teams to win a spot to go onto round two of "Moo Through the Years Moo-vivor", by placing a series of events in the proper order. Her team also won the second round by answering all of their questions correctly. In round three the team was now on their own and each person got a chance to put together a "cow chips" puzzle the fastest. The three fastest contestants then went on to round four for a eating contest. They spun a photo frame to match up pictures of Mary's Moo Moos to see what they would have to eat. Since they all finished their tasks they went on to the tie breaker. Now they found out why I had hula hoops! LOL Cindy hula-hooped her way to becoming the ultimate Moo-vivor and won a gold slinky in an engraved wooden box. Congratulations Cindy!
