Hi, if anyone has a Carlton Cards store near him or her, they have a 50% off a regular priced item coupon on their web site. www.carltoncards.com. The coupon is only good for in store purchases but it states one coupon per customer per visit. The coupon expires 7/31/01. I guess, I'll go see if they have any new Xmas moos. WORLD COLLECTORS NET "MOO MANIACS" CHAT
On June 16th at 7 PM we had our MHC chat. There were 5 members attending this time: Kathy Azure, Lynda Cardona, Neko, Debbie Phillips from Just 4 You Jewelry and Gifts and Lindamoo (that's me!)
This was a very exciting chat because it was the last chat before we go to Rosemont…. so you can already tell what the main topic was…. Yes Rosemont!! We were talking about when to meet, what we will do first and what pieces to bring. It's always best to bring your favorite piece, but if you're like most of us…and they are all your favorite pieces, then we suggest that you bring something that you can pack that will not get damaged in transit. I like to take the plush items because Mary signs them well and they can't break. Lynda was excited to share with us that she has been getting some really good deals on eBay this week. I also let her know that the MHC sales pages are a great place to look for those good buys too.
Neko was a little depressed because he was not going to make it to Rosemont this year. Actually he was so depressed that he bought 12 new moos this month, of course his wife doesn't know about it yet!
I decided to call for an early Trivia question. The question was "What make and color of car does Mary Rhyner-Nadig drive? Neko had the correct answer of: A silver Saturn. Neko won the new Carlton Exclusive piece "A Mother's Love is Immeasurable". This made Neko a little less depressed and of course we were all very happy for him!
