We had 6 members join us tonight, Carrie Moos, Jennifer Wertz, Cari Jetter, Liz from Victoria's Mall, Melody Brosnan and Lindamoo (that's me). Carrie Moos had posted a message on the "moo-ssage" board that said "the 5th member to show up would win a prize". Cari Jetter was the 5th member to join us so she wins a surprise pack from the club. Congratulations Cari! Cari wins a prize just about every time she attends a Moo Chat. Members need to attend these chats so they too can win wonderful moo prizes too. We then started talking about Mary Rhyner-Nadig's next signing at the "Mall of America" in Minnesota on October 27, 2001. Mary did a signing there a few years ago and let me tell you it is worth the trip. Not only do you get to see Mary but you also get to shop in one of the biggest Malls in America. It's wonderful! You can bring your kids too because there is a huge amusement park in the middle of the mall. Al's Farm Toys is hosting the signing in the Mall. They were the only store in the entire mall that had MMM' s and he had a great display with lots of cool stuff to dress up your John Deere displays. I then called for a trivia question, "What was the year and series name of the first dated Christmas plate?" Liz had the first correct answer of 1996 and the series was "Whee are Moving". Liz won a great Halloween gift, a cow mask she can wear for Halloween and also bring to Rosemont next year. Remember the only chats we will have from now through January is the Saturday night Moo Maniacs chat on the Yahoo site the 3rd Saturday of the month. Thanks to all the members who showed up; It's always great to get together at the chats! As reported by Lindamoo MOO HUNT CLUB "MOO MANIACS" CHAT On September 15th we had our MHC chat. We changed the time to 8:00 pm to see if it would work out better so more members could attend the chats. I was so happy to see so many of the members show up this time. With summer over we hope everyone will be able to join us for our chats. Tonight we had 6 members attending: Kathy Azure, Cindy Offenbacher, Neko, Cari Jetter, Kelly Betz and Lindamoo (that's me). We talked about what new moos we got this month then I called for a trivia question. "What is the name of the internet Mary's Moo Moos Figurine?" Neko was the first person with the correct answer of "Moo Got Mail." Neko won the new Dairy Queen Display; too bad Neko didn't give me his new address as I shipped it to his old address. Don't worry Neko I have a trace on the package and hopefully I will get it to you in a week or so. A little bit later we had another trivia question. "How many kitties are in the cart of the figurine titled "Wheel be purrfect friends" from the Simple Life Series? The correct answer was three and Cari Jetter from Canada won a cow-shopping list. Congratulations Cari!!! Kathy Azure, better known to some by her on line name Bluecat, had wonderful news of some new Moos coming out from Hamilton. Thanks to her they will be on the "Moos Asked for It" page on the MHC web site as of October 1st. Thanks again Kathy! We decided to close the night with one more trivia question. "How many bees are on the figurine "All A-Buzz Over You"? The correct answer was 3. Now this was answered kind of funny...Neko put 3 in first but meant to type 37 as a joke then Kelly Betz answered 3 next...who was first with the correct answer??? Neko being a gentleman, gave the prize to Kelly because he had already won one tonight. Congratulations Kelly, you won a Cow Spotted Notebook. We were all very happy to have such a great turn out tonight. If we have enough members attending we can have two or more trivia questions. I have lots of great prizes just waiting to be won! So remember to come and join us at the next MHC chat.
