Anaheim is Getting Close, Are you ready?
The date is getting closer, have you made your reservations yet? A schedule of events will be posted on the April web site. The host hotel for the "Moo Hunt Club" will be the Hilton Anaheim. Plan on staying an extra day or two to visit the new Disneyland California. We are planning a group visit to Disneyland on Friday, with our local "Moo Pal" Missi Seese, who will act as "tour guide" and show us around the park. Saturday night we will have a Moo Hunt Club get-together that will include some games and prizes. Brush up on your MMM trivia and get ready to have a moo-velous time! If you haven't already done so, email Linda Giles at Lindamoo@aol.com and let her know you'll be attending and your guests name so she can get the "official" Moo Hunt Club name badges made. WORLD COLLECTORS NET "MOO MANIACS" CHAT
On March 17th (St. Patrick's Day) at 7:00 PM we had our Moo Chat, and what a chat we had. We had a special announcement on our Moo-sage Board that the fifth member joining the chat and know the Mary Moo Moo St. Patrick Days pieces by name would win a prize. I was first to join the chat, then Carrie Moos, new member Tanya M., and Marlene (Mooleen). Our first member to join us was June. June joined us and immediately named the MMM St Patrick's Day pieces "Irish, You'd Kiss Me, Erin Go Moo, and Lucky To Have Each Udder". June win a mouse pad with all these St Patrick's Days pieces on it. Next to join us was Neko, Sy (not a member but enjoyed the chat), Laurie C., Debbie Phillips from Just 4 you and Missi.
We started off talking about the next Hamilton pieces that would be coming out. The Villages and the Got Milk pieces. It looks like these two series will be like the ornaments that they discontinued, if they do not get enough ordered they would not sell them. So if you are planning on ordering these items, please order now so we can get enough ordered in to get these items to production. You can go to the Moo Hunt Club web site to get the ordering information on these items. We also discovered that the Linda Anderson new piece is back ordered too. Hopefully this piece will get out by the end of March.
Then Carrie called for a Trivia question. The question was: "How many items are related to the month of March?" (Closest number with out going over wins) After several guess, our new member Tanya won. She had an answer of 10. The correct answer was 11. She was the closest not going over. The pieces were 1) March monthly piece, 2) March birthstone frame, 3) March plaque, 4) Irish you'd kiss me, 5) Erin Go Moo, 6) Lucky to have each udder, 7) Erin Go Moo Backer, 8) Green hay bales, 9) the Monthly moo Displayer, 10) Individual Monthly moo Display, 11) the Customer Appreciation piece April Showers bring Moo Showers. Tanya wins a Got Milk Glass bottle bank. Congratulations to Tanya. A new member, first chat & prizewinner.
We then started talking about all the fun we are going to have in Anaheim. We have 13 people attending the Anaheim show so far. Remember if you are going to attend please email us so we can put you on the list and have nametags ready for you. Missi is going to be our Moo Travel Director. Missi lives there close to Anaheim and is very familiar with the area. An advanced Thank You to Missi for her help and providing the club with maps of the area (to be in this months news letter)
We all had a wonderful time at this chat. Thanks to all the members that attended this chat. We really would like to get more members to attend these chats. We enjoy the members that do attend but know we have over 1300 members; surely some of the other members would like to join the chats and win these wonderful prizes too. Our yahoo Chat was on April 4 at 7 pm. The members that attended this chat was Liz from Victoria's Mall, Carrie Moos, Deb, Jennifer Wertz and of course me, Lindamoo.
The night started out wonderful because Liz reminded us that there are lots of new moos that should be arriving this month. Just to name a few that are schedule to come out is the John Deere Wedding pieces, the very cute Home Improvement piece, Howdy Neighbor piece, and the John Deere Moo's of the month. If you have no already purchased these pieces you might want to check out Liz's web site to pre-order these items at www.theperfectsolution.com.
Carrie attended tonight so she was ready to give us our Trivia question for the night. The question was: Finish this sentence: Spring is in the ________, All a ______ over you. Answer these both and that's your only clue. I was very excited that Carrie came up with the question, so that I was able to play too. It had been awhile since I was able to participate in the trivia questions. Well I jumped at that question with the answer of Air and Buzz. Guess what, I was right. YAHOO>>>>I finally had won a trivia question. I won some a $25 gift certificate from the Pumpkin Patch.
Even though we had a small turn out this time, it did not stop us from have a great time. Talking about all Anaheim and Chicago and of course ebay. The night lasted until 9 pm.
