10th Anniversary

It's our 10th Anniversary ~ no gifts please!

Most marriages don't last 10 years but Deb and I have challenged the "test of time" and survived! We survived because we started, as strangers, ended up friends and the rest is history. We chat on the phone occasionally but communicate mostly by email.. We met for the first time in 1999 and that was the only time we've seen each other in person. We feel like we know each other better than our spouses do! J

We could go on about the good times, the sleepless nights, pulling the web site together at the last minute and the endless hours of

research ~ but it's more fun to talk moos. The Moo Hunt Club was the site "to go to" for the fastest breaking news on upcoming releases of Mary's Moo Moos. You could say we had a little help from Enesco and our retailer's.

The Enesco employees we have met over the years were more than happy to keep us informed of what was going on. Sometimes we knew what was being released before they did! Anyway, we couldn't of done it without them and to this day they continue to support the club with a monthly gift certificate for our "Cow Chips" contest.

Special thanks to all the retailers that have supported us over the past 10 years and there have been many. To those that continue to do so, we appreciate you kindness and generosity. We'd like to take a

moment to thank Debbie Phillips of Just For You Jewelry and Gifts. Debbie was the first retailer to "join" the club and is still a strong

supporter today.

Over the past ten year's we have put together over 110 month's of "Moos" and held over 25 contests and shared numerous "How I Got Moo Fever" stories from our club members ~ all through the Moo Hunt Club web site. We are quite proud of this accomplishment. There's no Oscar, Grammy or Emmy, but the friendships we made along the way are a gift that we will always treasure. Thank you for sharing our passion ~ it's been a good ride!

It's hard to believe that words like Limo, Mickey Mouse, Garage Sale, Spaghetti Warehouse, Backdoor Store, Navy Pier, Rosemont, Hiawatha and Signings all have something in common ~ the Moo Hunt Club! If I really thought long and hard enough I could come up with a zillion more words to describe us MMM cow-lector's. The glue that kept all of us together was not just the club but the designer of our precious "herd" ~ Mary Rhyner-Nadig. Her artistic talents and creative titles are just one of the reasons we love our little "cow-lectibles". It took a few visits but Mary finally got use to our crazy group and calmly and thoughtfully signed our figurines for us. I could just imagine the stories she went home with and shared with her family. Our group is a little overwhelming!

Thank you for giving us so much joy over the years and bringing these ador-a-bull figurines into our lives and our hearts.
